A market research conducted by Natterbox, a provider of hosted voice services, suggests that accounts and billing are the main cause of continued frustrations for business customers that use traditional telecom systems.
This innovative new player in the U.K. telecoms industry, launched in July 2010, further states that the business customers, with the use of traditional telecom systems face the complexity of reporting and inaccuracy.
The feedback we have received from business customers is that they are generally dissatisfied with the billing systems of traditional telecoms providers, Neil Hammerton, CEO of Natterbox, said. In our view, particularly with voice communications becoming more complex and businesses adding additional telecoms features, customers deserve billing that is reliable and simple to digest.
A recent study, backing up Natterbox’s data, by Convergys (News - Alert) Corporation has found that only 36 percent of enterprise decision-makers rate their primary telecoms provider as effective in providing billing that is accurate and easy to understand.
Natterbox, with its completely hosted services meaning that no software or hardware is needed at customer premises, aims to address these billing problems for business customers. Customers can monitor and control all Natterbox services via a live web control interface, which provides detailed, yet easy to understand reports and logs.
According to the needs of the customers, the presentation and content of bills can be highly customized with particular benefits for sectors like legal services, which require itemized accounts for the billing of their own clients.
The other business telecoms solutions of Natterbox include hosted PBX (News - Alert), SIP trunking, voice PA, call recording, disaster protection and voicemail. Natterbox, co-founded in 2009 by the proven management team of Neil Hammerton, Neil Burgess and Jim Page, and based in the southeast of England, plans to expand to international markets by the end of 2011.
In related news, Natterbox has introduced its hosted voice SaaS (News - Alert) for large or small business and its integrated call anywhere service.
