Loquendo Expands in Spain and Portugal

As the speech market expands rapidly across the world,  Loquendo (News - Alert), with over 30 years of experience in speech technology,  has remained continually answered to market needs, expanding into new markets and last July made a move to expand their presence in Spain and Portugal after recognizing the growing demand for speech in the countries.
 
Now, with an even greater demand present, Loquendo has announced the appointment of a new Relations Manager for the territory.
 
Marco Antonio Piña Sánchez was appointed Iberia Relations Manager and joins the Loquendo team from a Partners & Marketing Director position at Tecnocom.
 
Loquendo is especially well known in many sectors and vertical markets in the voice applications industry in Spain and Portugal.
 
In the countries, Loquendo has leading names like Telefónica Soluciones, ICEX, Prosodie Iberia, Comunidad de Madrid, Caixa Galicia and ONCE, as its customers.
 
According to a news release, the newest member of their team, Marco Antonio, has more than 10 years sales experience with companies such as Thales, Progress Software (News - Alert), Vignette, Softgal.
 
In his new role, and with Loquendo's strong presence in the countries, Marco Antonio will oversee the company's success and continued growth in these and other sectors.
 
The company's presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets include Loquendo TTS available in Castilian Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Valencian and Galician as well as Loquendo ASR, offering reliable one-stop-shopping voice technologies for partners.
