Licensing Live! is just around the corner. Businesses with an interest in software monetization still have time to register. And those who have already registered can now get details on the event via the show’s mobile app and website.
The only software monetization event kicks off Monday, Oct. 23 with a late afternoon and early evening product showcase and cocktail reception. Ray Wang, Constellation Research will talk about the new business models for the IoT during the networking reception. On Tuesday, Oct. 24, there is a full day of keynote speeches, panel discussion, networking opportunities and presentations from real life case studies.
On Tuesday Gemalto and its partners will discuss trends, opportunities and challenges related to software monetization. Edward Hartman of Simon-Kucher & Partners and Bob Irvine of Viavi Solutions will explain how digital transformation can lead to new operational efficiencies. Pam Miller of IDC, and Vince Jannelli and Yaz Nakayama of Sharp, will help event attendees better understand how to position the value proposition in embracing digital transformation and grow revenue. Martin Pedersen of the Stellar Design Agency will present on how consumerization has empowered customers and the critical role of UX.
In addition there will be presentation from Phillips, Juniper Networks, NetApp and Trimble. These software executives will be joined by AVST for a frank discussion on what it takes to be a change agent and drive operational change and improvement within their organization.
Phil Hansen will challenge the audience to spark creativity by thinking inside the box! The day wraps up with a cocktail networking reception and book signing of Phil’s book, Tattoo a Banana outside by the fountains at The Juniper Hotel in Cupertino, CA (News - Alert).
On Wednesday attendees get another chance to visit the Sentinel product demo showcase, M2M, Enterprise Security and Gemalto’s (News - Alert) billing partner- Aria Systems. This day is dedicated to real tactics and case studies so you can return to the office ready to license, operate, price, and sell differently. The day wraps up at lunch on Wednesday Oct. 25th.
This event gets to the root of what software monetization is all about. Since many companies who once sold “boxes” are now transforming to software and service companies-this event will help change the way that companies can package, deliver and price their products. And this process begins with a transformation and change on how to handle licensing first. You’ll walk away with valuable insight and knowledge you can apply on this journey.
Software experts from across the Americas will be meeting again (for the 10th consecutive year) to focus on software monetization best practices. Register now to join them at LicensingLive!
