The third quarter of 2013 appears to have been exceptional for VoIP Logic (News - Alert) as it reached many milestones. Its platform-as-a-service delivery model is now being used by more than 30 service provider partners, supports more than 50,000 concurrent sessions of SIP trunking capacity, while operating infrastructure for more than 40,000 business end users.
VoIP Logic provides Class 5 VoIP infrastructure, which includes solutions from many leading vendors. This includes BroadSoft’s industry leading BroadWorks platform, Acme Packet’s (News - Alert) Net-Net Access SBC and Genband’s S3 VoIP Peering solution – all as a managed service for companies that offer hosted PBX services to SMBs.
In addition, it allows its partners have the control and flexibility to choose their own carriers and go-to-market strategy as well as to design the services they offer.
“We provide this foundational infrastructure while ensuring that our partners have the control and flexibility to make operational decisions that are best for their businesses,” said Micah Singer (News - Alert), CEO at VoIP Logic.
Michael Tessler, CEO, Broadsoft observed that VoIP Logic has been a consistent growth customer for many years and that the company relied on it to reach many of the small and medium sized carriers that want to use Broadworks technology without owning and operating facilities. VoIP Logic’s data center facilities in New York and London have also seen tremendous growth over the past seven years.
VoIP Logic works extensively with infrastructure and technology manufacturers, providing support, expansion and management of technology. Given the provider’s capabilities and the success of the VoIP Logic core infrastructure platform, it is no wonder that it has maintained its lead as a provider of hosted PBX (News - Alert) platform-as-a-service.
“In particular, as they have scaled in size as a managed service provider, it has been exciting to see them implement and put into production many of our newer technologies – notably our call center application, including SIPREC for call recording, and our BroadTouch (TM) Business Communicator desktop clients,” added Singer.
As a managed services provider of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) technology to carriers and service providers, VoIP Logic claims to have achieved what it set out do- reduce the cost and complexity of running a communications service through its platform-as-a-service delivery model. It has grown steadily and consistently, achieving much in the process.
