TargetX, a unique higher education company that offers both technology tools and consulting services, recently launched the newest version of its CRM tool for college admissions, student retention and advancement offices. The winter '13 release of Enterprise CRM boasts more powerful and effective e-mail broadcasting and event management tools.
Officials confirmed that the release of this latest version coincides with the newest advances to the Force.com platform on which TargetX's cloud-based customer relationship management system is built.
"Colleges should always expect continual innovation from their vendors," explained CEO Brian Wm. Niles, "even with highly successful products like our e-mail and event managers. With Salesforce and TargetX working together, colleges can be confident of continual innovation."
The e-mail broadcast tool now offers a new and more powerful HTML editor that makes it easier to craft effective e-mail messages. It features the ability to capitalize on Salesforce's world-class report-building tools to create more relevant e-mail campaigns. Additionally, it offers the ability to target and e-mail multiple constituencies.
The connection with Salesforce offers a huge benefit to users of TargetX products, Niles said. "We're delivering an environment that provides automatic upgrades to our clients, whether the developments come from us or from Salesforce."
The new CRM event manager offers greater capability to manage recurring events, featuring the option to include a QR code to speed up event check-in.
Improved guest management that allows users to track and cap the number of guests and automated e-mail communication related to cancellations, waitlists, etc. are some of the other features of the new CRM event manager.
In related news, technology and consulting company TargetX recently delivered its Recruitment CRM to the California-based Pepperdine University.
