Hold-Free's Lance Fried to Contribute on Panel During 2012 ITEXPO East

We can now say without a doubt that social media and social networking are here to stay. With that in mind, one of the leading Web 2.0 customer service solution firms will be participating in a panel at this week's ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2012. Hold-Free CEO Lance Fried will be a part of a panel that is titled “Making Social Media Work within Your Business.” 

The Hold-Free panel will take place on February 3rd at 10:00 am as one of the programs that is going on at the Miami Beach Convention Center. TMCnet's own Chris DiMarco will be moderating this particular panel which will include Kyle Sandler of “The Droid Guy” and Roberto Ricossa of Avaya (News - Alert).

This panel will discuss whether all businesses in 2012 need to have a social media presence in order to succeed. Certainly more and more businesses have been embracing an online profile that appeals more to people who spend a good portion on the Web. The panel will also be looking at what the implications are for businesses who have different levels of social engagement. Industry analyst Gartner (News - Alert) says that businesses are poised to spend more than $1 billion on social marketing tools in 2012.

Fried says that he know what makes a really good panel on topics like this. “The best panels I've been a part of are the ones where the audience gets to hear several diverse points of view, I think that will certainly be the case here. I look forward to sharing the perspective of a Web 2.0 Customer Service company -- and listening to thoughts on social media from a large corporation such as Avaya Inc. as well as an independent technology publisher.”

Fried has certainly put together a firm that has a real presence in the Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) for enterprises sector. Hold-Free manages different modules for their customers that encapsulate Sales, Social CRM and Security and Service. 

DiMarco was excited to have someone the caliber of Fried on the panel. “We are fortunate to have a thought leader like Lance on the panel this year, he is in rare company in terms of having helped enterprise clients deploy successful social media programs while also applying the same principles within his own organization.”
