Shoot and Share 15 Second Video Clips with the Latest Viddy App

The end of the four month beta phase spelled a new beginning for Viddy, a premier mobile social video iOS-based app. It debuted version 1.3.0 and launched a full function web presence that promises to define the future of social mobile video.


“Viddy has officially graduated from our beta phase. The app has seen tremendous growth, with over 750,000 registered users in the four months since our initial beta launch – we’re incredibly proud of the social community Viddy users have formed,” said co-founder JJ Aguhob, in a press release.

The new features present in version 1.3.0 enable Viddy users to share their clips on social media sites from anywhere and at anytime using any device Users just need to login at the Viddy site and access real-time video feed. They can also pick up some embed codes from favorite videos.

In addition to sharing messages, e-mails and video clips through social media site, Viddy also allows users to share via Tumblr. They can also add and delete comments that have been posted. With deeper Facebook and Twitter (News - Alert) integration, users can register and connect directly through both the social networking sites , customize posts and share clips instantly through news feeds and wall posts.

Users can add titles, tags, and geo-location with Foursquare and also introduce a new page to highlight favorites. By connecting Apple (News - Alert) TV to a television, Viddy clips can be streamed directly from an iPhone or iPad to anywhere in the house.

The 'Over-the-Air Production Packs ' enable new updates to be installed as soon as they are released. A re-designed 'Settings' page, a newly adorned 'About us' page, drop down menu options, performance updates and bug fixes, Viddy has transformed the act of 'sharing' into a creative exercise that has endless possibilities.

The Viddy app is sitting tall in Japan and promises more worldwide localizations in the near future. It is highly popular with Internet personalities and celebrities among others. It is free to download from Apple for iOS devices and will soon be available for Google (News - Alert) Android, Blackberry, Microsoft and Windows Mobile devices.
