Today’s communications market is in a constant state of flux, with vendors and developers creating new products and solutions regularly to enhance the communications capabilities of their end users. The convergence of voice, video, and data has, of course, provided new opportunities for innovation and service enhancement.
In an effort to capitalize on newly available technologies, Zultys, which produces three primary IP
communications products lines — Media Exchanges (MX), IP phones, and Peripheral components — has constantly endeavored to enhance its offerings. As recently as last month, Zultys released a new version of its MX software, adding new features and updates to existing capabilities.
But product development is merely part of the roadmap to success, and any vendor with a solid product offering also needs an equally strong sales and marketing group to drive those products to market, either through direct sales of channel programs. With a presence in more than 110 countries and support for 19 languages, Zultys is certainly keenly aware of the need for strong sales channels, and in its efforts to further strengthen its sales and marketing efforts, it named Jonna K. Paquette as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
Ms. Paquette will be tasked with driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for Zultys’ product line, working in concert with the company’s overall product strategy. Prior to joining Zultys, Paquette served as director of national sales for Estech Systems (ESI), where she led the regional sales, business development, and product training initiatives, and fronted numerous successful project, including ESI’s vertical marketing program, as well as successfully strengthening ESI’s reseller network. Her success in both areas will prove an asset as Zultys continues to expand its global reach.

In addition to her term at ESI, Paquette also worked for more than 15 years at Telrad (News
) Connegy, as vice president of sales and marketing, as well as other training, business development, and engineering posts.
Zultys also named a new direct report to Paquette, Frank Anderson, who will assume the position of Mid-Atlantic Region sales manager. He has been with Zultys since 2005, when he joined with the directive to develop the company’s reseller network. He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, specifically related to distributed networked solutions and telecommunications consulting, as well as more than a decade of experience developing relationships with channel partners. Prior to joining Zultys, Anderson held positions at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), General DataComm (GDC), Fujitsu, Avaya (News
), and Digium|Asterisk.
Having worked with and competed against many major communications solution vendors, Anderson is patently excited with his new role at Zultys, and exudes confidence that the Zultys product set is capable of bringing new levels of reliability, richness, and scalability to customers.
