Zultys Technologies (News - Alert), a company that specializes in SIP
PBX solutions, recently announced that it won a Communications Solutions 2006 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation. The company was recognized for version 3.0 of its MX System software.
This latest release of the software for Zultys’ MX30 (designed for small office settings) and MX250 (for enterprise settings) IP
PBXs, started shipping last June (2006). The company added a number of major features to the release, including instant messaging bridging between the PBX (News - Alert) and public IM services, options for advanced automated attendant or basic IVR
, and integration with Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange for unified messaging using fractional PCM (T1
or E1) with the MX30 system.

The MX System software is now out in release 3.0.29, further underscores the company’s commitment to business continuity and technological innovation. The newest version adds the following features:
- Device profile for the ZIP4x4L in the Admin UI
- Support for T1/E1 plug-in card on the MX30 (up to 10 channels)
- Ability to archive faxes
- Configurable hot key sequence to select the MXIE application
- Configuration in SIP profiles to not send re-INVITE to ITSPs when internal hold and transfer operations take place
