At this event, Sagem-Interstar (News - Alert) revealed the latest release of the Cisco AXP-XMediusFAX Fax over IP (FoIP) server solution. Event attendees were able to visit Cisco's (News - Alert) main booth to learn more about the Cisco AXP platform, and witness first-hand Sagem-Interstar's XMediusFAX FoIP running on a Cisco AXP module with Call Manager Express and Cisco Unity Express.

 

Ignited by an increased consumer and business interest in eco-friendly, cost-effective and virtualized IP and Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) infrastructures, the Cisco AXP-XMediusFAX FoIP solution is the industry's only IP fax server solution supported on the widely deployed Cisco ISRs. During the Webcast, Sagem-Interstar Vice President of Business, Christian Larocque
along with Marlowe Fenne, Cisco Solutions Marketing Manager, will address the challenges associated with fax in the healthcare, financial, legal, and government sectors and how they can be solved by implementing the Cisco AXP-XMediusFAX solution.
