Sagem-Interstar, the global innovator in advanced fax solutions for IP networks, will be showcasing its Cisco (News - Alert) AXP–XMediusFAX Fax over IP (FoIP) solution this week at the premier event, Networkers at Cisco Live in Johannesburg, South Africa, booth # W22.

 

With the theme “Power of Collaboration”, this exciting event for IT and communications professionals begins Monday, December 1st and will end on Thursday, December 4th.

The joint Cisco/Sagem (News - Alert)-Interstar solution is gaining global interest as today’s economic crisis motivates organizations to look toward “greener” solutions that emphasize branch application integration and optimization.

 

Sagem-Interstar’s (News - Alert) XMediusFAX is the first FoIP server to run inside a Cisco Integrated Services Router (ISR): Cisco AXP–XMediusFAX FoIP solution. It offers full compliance on both Windows and Cisco Application Extension Platform (AXP) (Linux) platforms, as well as with many leading network application providers such as Citrix, IBM (Lotus), Microsoft, Novell, SAP (News - Alert) and VMware.

 

The company recently demonstrated its Cisco AXP–XMediusFAX FoIP solution at the sold-out Cisco Networkers event in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was held November 10th -13th.

 

Looking ahead to next year, Sagem-Interstar (News - Alert) will also have a booth at Cisco Networkers, Barcelona, Spain, held January 26th – 29th; Cisco Networkers, Mexico, March 4th – 6th; and Cisco Live, San Francisco, California, June 28th – July 2nd.
