The interactive Cisco Second Life TechChat online discussion, held in a 3D environment, is designed for technical professionals focusing on deploying the latest networking technologies and solutions.
The event, titled: “Cisco AXP: Your Open Developer Platform - Cisco Live in Second Life TechChat”, will feature Srinivas Kotamraju, solutions marketing manager in the Cisco network systems marketing team, and Anurag Gurtu, Cisco technical marketing engineer currently focusing on the Cisco ISR, as well as Corey Wilson, Sagem (News

During this free Cisco Second LifeTechChat, attendees will learn about the Cisco Application Extension Platform (AXP) and other Cisco partner applications such as Sagem-Interstar’s (News
) XMediusFAX FoIP solution. Attendees will participate in real time with Cisco engineers, technology experts, and networking professionals.
Topics discussed will include:
How the Cisco AXP allows easy integration of the branch network, applications, and IT infrastructure, thereby increasing operational efficiency and lowering TCO. Capabilities include a Linux hosting environment, support libraries, a software development kit, and more.
