Concord Fax is hoping to stay at the forefront of the cloud fax services space with the recent major upgrade to its fax online service, the introduction of a new Web portal for its enterprise customers, and its offer of synchronization tools and Active Directory integration.

Together, these new features and functionality are expected to make Concord’s online fax service more attractive for enterprises while enhancing the company’s ability to support customers.

Managing a large number of active users and fax numbers in an organization is a difficult and tedious task, but with the Active Directory integration, even large groups of users can be managed easily. Deployment is simplified across the enterprise and users can be managed within the Microsoft (News - Alert) Management console. The integration aims to simplify the task of user and fax number administration for IT departments within large organizations.

Further, the new website will simplify the reporting and analysis of traffic and will also allow users greater freedom in the managing of their accounts.

In addition, customers should see the quality of faxes improving. Complex graphics and color in the original documents are expected to be retained while images will see quality enhancements. As all the faxes, inbound and outbound, can be sent to a central repository, reporting and compliance archiving is easily achieved.
