SIGNiX Digital Signatures Being Used Increasingly by Credit Unions

By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor

SIGNiX has reported that it has been chosen by several of the nation’s major credit unions as their trusted digital signature provider. SIGNiX offers secure electronic signatures solutions, which the company has found are increasingly being used by credit unions to decrease expenditures, simplify issues related with compliance and enhance member experience.

In a statement, Laurie Janak, assistant manager, Sacred Heart Credit Union said, “Our members aren’t just local anymore—they’re global, and we’re changing the way we do business to meet their needs. With SIGNiX, we can reach our members whether they’re down the street or an ocean away.”

Perhaps explaining the increasing number of credit unions relying on SIGNiX is the fact that the organization’s e-signatures are approved by CUNA Mutual and are completely certified by Credit Union Resources and the Tennessee Credit Union League.

Some of the credit unions using SIGNiX include Sacred Heart Credit Union, FedEx Employees Credit Association, Alcon Employees Federal Credit Union, Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union, Access Community Credit Union, SRI (News - Alert) Federal Credit Union and Mokelumne Federal Credit Union. These credit unions hope to assist their members in signing documents on the web with SIGNiX, making it easier to transact business while on move.

According to John Hays, vice president of lending and COO at Access Community Credit Union, the organization has leveraged SIGNiX to make documents available to the members in a rapid, secure, and convenient manner. The organization’s back-end workflow has also been simplified with SIGNiX, he notes.

Apart from augmenting mobility and protection, credit union staff can save time with e-signatures. The lengthy process of sending, receiving, fact-checking and filing paper documents has been substituted with the help of SIGNiX technology. Staff at credit unions can not only quickly draft out documents, but can also be assured that all the completed documents will not have any missing signatures.

Jay Jumper, president and CEO of SIGNiX said, “E-signatures are a fast and easy way for credit unions to get their documents signed online. In addition to convenience, credit unions trust their documents with our highly secure technology, which is unmatched in the e-signature industry.”
