IP Fax Provider Virtutone Networks Leverages AGORACOM for Online Marketing

By Rory Lidstone, TMCnet Contributing Writer

Virtutone Networks, a supplier of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Fax over Internet Protocol (FoIP) services, has launched a new Online Marketing and Awareness Program with the help of AGORACOM, North America's largest online investor relations community and social networking website for small to mid-cap companies and investors.

Put simply, the program involves 10,000 content brand insertions on the AGORACOM network, along with extensive search engine marketing over the next 12 months. Virtutone has also secured exclusive sponsorships of various digital properties, including AGORACOM TV, the AGORACOM home page and the AGORACOM Twitter (News - Alert) account — all of which should significantly raise brand awareness of Virtutone Networks with the online small-cap investors crowd.

"We are delighted to have engaged the services of AGORACOM," said Jason Allen, president and chief executive officer of Virtutone. "Virtutone will greatly benefit from the vast online exposure that AGORACOM will provide over the next 12 months. Virtutone has a great business story, and now it's time to tell the world"

The company has already had a pretty successful year so far, having secured several additional contracts for wholesale voice traffic toward the beginning of 2013. Altogether, these contracts were bringing in approximately $850,000 per month on average, reaching a high of over $1.3 million in February. Then, in April, Virtutone announced that its retail division won two new contracts to provide managed line services to oil and gas supply companies.

According to George Tsiolis, founder of AGORACOM, Virtutone's success can be traced back to its ability to differentiate itself through mass branding and marketing, as it is doing now with its marketing and awareness program.

Virtutone will issue shares to AGORACOM in exchange for the online marketing, advertising and brand services. Although the number of shares to be issued each quarter will be determined using the closing price of the shares at that time, AGORACOM should receive a steady $12,500 in shares per quarter.
