GL Communications (News - Alert), a premier supplier of test, monitoring and analysis equipment for TDM, Wireless, IP and VoIP networks, has recently enhanced its T1 E1 Analysis suite of products, by adding major hardware features and software applications.
Vijay Kulkarni, CEO of the company said, "Our T1 E1 Analysis suite of products continues to provide the most comprehensive analysis and emulation capability of any product on the market. Any traffic over T1 E1 lines including voice, fax, modem, signaling, mobile, IP, VoIP, ATM, and more is addressed."
An optional board available with GL's tProbe T1 E1 Analyzer USB unit, GL's Datacom Emulator/Analyzer has been designed for service installation, verification, and maintenance of data communications and telecommunications equipment. It supports V.24, V.35, V.36, X.21, RS-449, RS-485, EIA-530, and EIA-530A interfaces.
Officials said that the solution can also be configured as DTE or DCE to test Channel Service Units and Data Service Units used point-to-point and multi-point applications.
By allowing simulation of a two-wire FXO device such as a telephone or a fax machine, the FXO port on tProbe helps you to capture and analyze data from a two-wire telephone line, as well as to generate and transmit analog voice or data onto that two-wire line.
The FXS port on tProbe emulates a two-wire FXS service such as a telephone wall jack and allows you interface with an FXO device such as a telephone.
CAS Analyzer of GL supports monitoring and decoding of CAS signaling events over T1 E1 networks. Supported CAS signaling types include MFC-R2 and R1.
During transmission, the real-time analysis captures data on one or multiple T1 E1 lines on specified timeslot simultaneously. Users can record all or filtered traffic into a trace file and can later analyze them offline or can export to an ASCII file or printed.
