A leader in communications systems for the healthcare industry, Jeron Electronic Systems, has entered into a partnership with Brekeke (News - Alert) Software, Inc. The partnership aims to integrate Jeron 's Provider 790 nurse call system to enterprise level SIP wireless telephony systems in acute care facilities.
Officials with Brekeke Software said that adding SIP phones integration to Provider 790's VoIP-based communications platform untethers staffers from the nursing stations and delivers mission-critical nurse call alerting and communication to mobile caregivers.
Company officials pointed out that leveraging Brekeke SIP Server with Provider 790 makes integrations simpler, more flexible, and lowers costs.
Myles Cochran, Jeron's director of marketing, said that reliable wireless communication is a critical tool in providing timely response to patient demands in the hospital environment.
"There is a tremendous amount of pressure to maintain and improve the level of patient care. A networked solution for wireless phones increases the efficiency of staff by keeping mobile caregivers in direct communication with their patients," said Cochran, in a statement.
"In an environment where patients' lives are at stake, Brekeke SIP Server adds value as a component in Jeron's high-performance Provider 790 nurse call platform,” said Shinichi Mitsumata (News - Alert), chief technology officer of the San Mateo, California-based Brekeke Software.
“Jeron with our SIP server is a perfect solution for acute care facilities who need advanced and reliable technology in a simple package," said Mitsumata.
Earlier in November, Brekeke Software Inc., developer and manufacturer of SIP communication technologies, and VLM International, Inc., a provider of telecom billing software and services, had announced the confirmation of interoperability between VLM International’s hosted billing service and Brekeke’s hosted telephony platform product, Brekeke PBX (News - Alert) Multi-Tenant Edition.
This successful interoperability ensures that telephony service providers with Brekeke PBX Multi-Tenant Edition will be able to utilize the stable and versatile hosted billing service that VLM International offers.
