As college graduates all over the nation these next few weeks receive distinguishing honors such as magna cum laude and valedictorian, SIM server provider iQsim is celebrating a recent accomplishment of its own – and one that is a bit cooler than a diploma. Earlier this month, iQsim unveiled IRON Suite V2, software that enhances the deployment and management of iQsim state-of-the-art call and SMS termination solution while adding enhanced SIM Server functionality in different domains.
“It brings new and unprecedented management capabilities (such as multi-window, multi-application), new evolution possibilities (API which allows the extension of the interface to 3rd apps) and users rights management (having several level of management by different persons) into a single Web management interface,” Philippe Bessaguet, CEO of iQsim told TMCnet. “We introduced the industry-first, standalone multiservice mobile termination platform. This is achieved now with IRON V2 incorporated within the IRON SIM Server One.”
“IRON SIM Server One is a standalone service platform with central SIM storage,” he added. “iQsim is unique in providing such a single platform for simultaneous call and SMS termination services without the need for additional servers/software.”
IRON Suite V2 is currently available as a standalone service platform, hosted on the award-winning IRON SIM Server One to provide the industry-first professional and secured standalone call and SMS termination solution.
According to company officials, the solution boasts a multitude of benefits, in large part thanks to its unique management interface and API.
“We allow our customers to save time in setting up and implementing services and save time in problem resolution,” Laurent Lhermitte, vice president of sales, told TMCnet. “This can be directly translated to cost reduction and a higher service uptime and availability.”
“IRON Suite V2 and the IRON SIM Server One allow customers the ability to have a single platform for both call and SMS termination services,” he said. “They need to invest less in the solution due to the fact that it is a single HW solution, they need to invest less as they have both call and SMS termination in the same product, and they can increase their revenue streams by offering two termination services: call and SMS.”
For iQsim, bringing industry firsts to the market is nothing new for the SIM server provider, as evidenced by the recent accolades the company has nabbed. Specifically, a few weeks ago the company received word that it has been named as a finalist for the 2012 Red Herring (News - Alert) Top 100 Europe Award. And for iQsim, this news sends a promising message to the market that the SIM server company is continuing down the path of innovation and leadership.
Red Herring noticed the SIM server company for its IRON Suite offering, which was evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration into their respective industries.
iQsim anticipates that its latest release will also be met with resounding success.
“We are already seeing very strong and positive response from our customers that have tested the new solutions,” Bessaguet said. “We are meeting market needs and setting new benchmark for this technology: rich, multi-service, cost effective and simple to use and implement solution. It will increase our customer’s competitiveness, reduce their overall costs and generate more revenue streams for them.”
So how does this release further iQsim’s competitive edge in the market?
“iQsim is known as the highest quality and innovative solution in the market for its breadth and depth of services and a complete, end-to-end solution,” Lhermitte said. “This release strengthens our position and takes it a step further as we now provide a more cost effective, simultaneous call and SMS platform and enhanced overall management.”
