ManageEngine Introduces Remote Service Desk Software

ManageEngine, a provider of low-cost enterprise IT management software, launched ManageEngine (News - Alert) MSP Center Lite, agent-based, remote service desk management software.


The software is designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to handle the networks of clients that are distributed across geographies.

MSP Center Lite is a complete MSP platform. It has all the important features searched for by a service provider, such as network monitoring, asset management, ITIL-based service desk, IT workflows, cloud monitoring, server monitoring, patch management, POS monitoring and remote control.

MSP Center Lite was built on the agent-central architecture and is web-based. The agent is easy to install, lightweight, and doesn’t use a lot of hardware resources. Those installed across customers are created to communicate with the central server through secure connections (HTTPS).

Ric Hayman, the president of Hayman Consulting Services, said that MSP Center Lite gives them an opportunity to increase revenue by becoming even more valuable to their customers. MSP Center Lite allows them to proactively manage multiple customer environments simultaneously without spending a lot of money on software licenses or devote weeks to installations.

Dev Anand, the product manager of ManageEngine MSP Center Lite, said that their experience in working with over 650 managed service providers managing over 10,000 SMEs gave them insight into what the new breed of managed service providers is looking for.  Anand added that the features they built into this product will take the load off the MSPs. The goal of the MSP Center Lite with its new integrations and automation capabilities is to enable service providers to achieve higher productivity and earn higher profits.

ManageEngine MSP Center Lite offers flawless integration with help desk and PSA solutions. It can also automate repetitive tasks within the system, which frees the service provider to spend time on activities that are more important.

The product is available for download. Pricing starts at $545 per year for 50 devices. A 60-day trial is also available.
