Chicago, Ill.-based ISI Communications Inc. has become the newest member of Epygi Technologies' Channel Partner program for within the United States. Epygi made the announcement on Thursday at the Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO, which is taking place this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.

The new alliance will help both companies to deliver SIP-based trunking services and introduce VoIP-based telephone services for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) markets nationwide.

"Epygi recognizes ISI Communications as an ITSP delivering quality services, offering its customers the most technologically advanced VoIP solutions," noted Jeff Kirchner, Epygi's CEO.

Epygi's Quadro suite of products is comprised of voice and data networks; IP PBXs for home office workers, teleworkers, SMEs/SMBs and organizations with branch offices; and T1 Gateway and Conference Servers for larger organizations.

"I was particularly impressed that Quadro's can provide all the benefits of VoIP with the features customers have come to expect from traditional PBX systems. They are easy to install and easy to use, have very good quality sound and are competitively priced. They have even solved effectively customers' major VoIP fear, losing all external communication when the IP server goes down, by including back-up PSTN lines in their solution," said Daniel G. Howard, president and founder of ISI.

ISI's VoIP services include SIP-based trunking with iSIP services, as well as the traditional telecom systems. The company is a national supplier, and installs and maintains VoIP systems across the U.S.

Epygi made news yesterday when the company announced that iotum, developers of the iotum Relevance Engine, will now support its Quadro line of IP PBX's.

The companies partnered to develop and deploy Voice 2.0 offerings based on iotum's Relevance Engine for Epygi's SOHO and SMB customers.

Epygi's Quadro IP PBX includes a firewall; router, IP PBX and voicemail; and call queues within a single box for SMB customers. iotum's Relevance Engine automatically routes that call to the most appropriate destination after it is assessed.

If you are at IT EXPO, don't forget to stop by booth #617 to meet Epygi and see a live demo of their services and products!
