By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Senior Editor

Is your network ready for an IP PBX (News - Alert)? If you aren’t sure, mark your calendar for an in-depth workshop, “Preparing Your Networks for an IP PBX,” to be held at Internet Telephony Conference and EXPO East (Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jan. 23-26, 2007). Warren Sonnen, Director of Product Management and Marketing for Epygi Technologies, will be presenting a start-to-finish look at the data network aspects of VoIP system deployments.
The workshop will be held January 24, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Attendees will get their hands dirty, as it were, learning about Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols—in the process getting grounded in an effective methodology for deploying VoIP systems. This includes key considerations before, during, and after the installation.
Show attendees interested in learning more about this topic are encouraged to visit Epygi’s (News - Alert) booth, #1410, at ITEXPO. Even more information is available on the company’s channel, Selecting VoIP Solutions.
