Epygi (News - Alert) Technologies has announced enhancements to its QuadroM 32x product. The capacity for this IP
PBX (News - Alert) scales to 192 extensions supporting 64 concurrent calls making it an ideal choice for larger businesses with a greater need for IP extensions and SIP
trunks.
Epygi's Director of Product Management and Marketing, Warren Sonnen, said in a statement that larger organizations can now take advantage of Quadro’s unique features and capabilities.
According to Epygi, maximum call capacity can be achieved by using ITSP services and an E1/T1
interface for all local and failover calling, which is the ability to switch to another system in the event of service interruption. Similar to other Quadro IP PBXs, the QuadroM 32x boasts a built-in QoS router for Internet access, a stateful inspection firewall, NAT, DHCP client and server, IPSec and VPN
. The QuadroM 32x can be configured remotely via Web browser using a simple GUI.
Epygi plans to launch its 5.0 software that can be uploaded to the QuadroM 32x. The company explains that new capabilities include an integrated 32-person conference bridge (64-person with an expandable license key) and programmable ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) for call centers. Improvements will make larger network installs faster and easier thanks to installation and configuration. Epygi adds that Plug-and-Play including Automatic Configuration is support on Aastra (News - Alert), Snom, and Polycom IP Phones.
Epygi’s Quadro range of feature-packed IP PBXs, high capacity VoIP
gateways and cost-saving conference servers offer users outstanding benefits and an unparalleled range of features at very economic prices. The entire range is reliable, secure, and easy to install and use. Because of its low maintenance cost, the state-of-the-art equipment gives superior sound quality and a quick return on investment. Epygi Technologies’ Quadro range of IP-PBXs is also available with voice prompts and system management computer screens (GUIs) in Spanish.
