Video surveillance appliances have witnessed number of changes in the last few years. The advent of IP surveillance technologies have not only brought costs down, they have also provided more options to the users.
Offering dependable, ready-to-use surveillance solutions to its customers, Milestone Systems has announced that the company will be introducing a new series of products called the Milestone Husky Series. The Milestone Husky Series comes with a three-year Software Upgrade Plan and hardware warranty.
The Milestone Husky Series is available in the Husky M10, the Husky M30 and the Husky M50. This series will also be offered in more than 40 combinations in custom-build versions. The processing power is a quick fire i3/i5/i7, and the storage capacity is from 1 to 24TB.
Milestone Husky NVRs are equipped with automatic device discovery features and help users configuring the system with ease. Also, there is no need to worry about licensing, as the device comes with pregnant-installed license keys. It also supports more than 2,000 camera models from over 100 manufacturers.
Aside from the Milestone Husky Series, the company also offers other types of surveillance solutions, such as its open platform IP video management software (VMS) and its XProtect VMS. All XProtect products are designed to work with IP cameras, encoders and digital video recorders.
“Milestone Husky is a new family of unique performance-optimized solutions for out-of-the-box video surveillance. When designing the Husky appliance series, we thought big: creating a range of products to meet a wide variety of needs, with robust products that are plug-and-play yet configurable and scalable," says Lars Nordenlund, VP of Incubation and Ventures at Milestone Systems. "These are powerful appliances with reliable, high quality components and superior feature sets, all-in-one solutions that drive faster processing and better quality video and analytics.”
