Vodafone (News - Alert) continues construction of its ‘Ready Network’, enterprise-focused SDN portfolio with the addition of Juniper’s Contrail SD-WAN Solution providing a foundation.

Vodafone chose Juniper Networks (News - Alert) Contrail SD-WAN solution for its Contrail Service Orchestration to manage Vodafone SD-WAN services infrastructure for the enterprises, offering each enterprise customer a customized self-service portal.  The orchestration solution brings together security controls and policies across hybrid WAN connections – 4G/LTE (News - Alert) wireless, MPLS, IPsec, and broadband internet.

Each customer location will deploy the Juniper Networks NFX Series Network Services Platform too allow for virtualized WAN service creation as well as the ability to host virtual next-gen firewall and cloud-based threat detection. Easily deployed and integrated with Contrail, the NFX series is vital to enterprise customers.
