Software-defined solutions are serving society well. From enterprise networking and the data center to the contact center and conference room, software is evolving operations – just another brick in the growing digital transformation taking place. WAN are receiving reinvigorations as a result of this software-defined revolution underway, and it seems SD-WAN is ready for the primetime.

Growing network requirements place a greater burden than ever before, and the SaaSy landscape of today calls for a solution capable of supporting current needs as well as scale over time. CloudGenix, a Silicon Valley startup, has proven its SD-WAN solution stands up to the big boys, and this week announced a master agent agreement with AVANT.

“SD-WAN is a game-changing technology that the AVANT channel is quickly embracing,” said Drew Lydecker, president and co-founder, AVANT. “CloudGenix has established itself as a visionary in the advancement of SD-WAN. We believe the addition of CloudGenix SD-WAN technology will help our channel meet the growing demand in the market.”

Customers gain access to the CloudGenix Instant-On Networks (ION) product suite, which enables deployment of SaaS and cloud-based applications (AWS, UC, Office365, etc.), the ability to work with one’s carrier of choice and a central database that hosts all network and app flows (minimizing fragmentation and improved access to performance insight).

AVANT offers a depth of experience in distributing next generation solutions – cloud, connectivity, colo, etc. Leveraging its Intelligent Distribution sales enablement platform and sales enablement methodology, the channel can propose, educate/learn and close.

“Our partnership with AVANT is a natural fit,” said Kumar Ramachandran (News - Alert), CEO of CloudGenix. “Its unique selling tools coupled with a knowledgeable and strong team make AVANT an invaluable ally as we continue to drive forward the adoption of CloudGenix SD-WAN — and spark business transformation.”

While the benefits of SD-WAN may not be well known, they should be. Starting with a sharp decrease in spend to the tune of 50-70 percent and minimizing network managers’ time expenditure in terms of business rules, SLAs and network configurations by 90 percent.

The question isn’t if, it’s when are you going to embrace the software-defined transformation?
