Telecom Consulting Group (TCG) is a master agency with more than two and a half decades of experience. The company offers its more than 1,600 agents across the U.S. access to a wide ranges of information and communications technologies from the leading service providers. The announcement of the new partnership with Ecessa (News - Alert), a company that designs and manufactures networking hardware and software for network connectivity to businesses, including SD-WAN will give TCG a networking solution that will improve enterprise cloud performance and get rid of network outages for its clients.

The Ecessa line of WAN controllers currently have over 10,000 field installations, with its Ecessa Edge, PowerLink, ClariLink and WANworX controllers. These solutions have been designed so organizations of all sizes can have a reliable Internet and cloud-based applications to connect their offices around the world. The can distribute traffic using any type of private or public network bandwidth on different WAN links to remove bottlenecks and eliminate network downtime to ensure business continuity.

Eric Brooker, Vice President of sales and marketing at Ecessa, said, "The power of SD-WAN for channel partners is being able to provide any type of network their clients need. TCG’s strength in this regard gives them a distinct advantage for delivering successful SD-WAN solutions."

For TCG, this means the cloud solutions it provides, as well as the other IP-based services will have a reliable infrastructure to ensure the services will always be accessible to its customers, which includes everything from hosted VoIP to SIP, Metro Ethernet and more.

Real-time applications such as Citrix (News - Alert), Voice over IP (VoIP), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and cloud-based systems that are vulnerable to latency, jitter and line failure will benefit greatly from Ecessa's technology.

Dan Pirigyi, partner at TCG, said they selected Ecessa because, "They are a specialized, best-in-service provider that will save our clients time and money by strengthening their network infrastructure and providing resilient connections to the cloud and Internet."

The need for increased bandwidth is being driven by a growing number of businesses that are deploying UCaaS, VoIP, and business continuity and disaster recovery solutions, as well as a wide range of cloud-based applications. In most instances these services are being accessed from multiple locations, which requires a reliable platform to bring all these resources together.

The Ecessa WANworX can bring together the different locations of an organization with readily available carrier services while complementing existing Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks with low-cost broadband services. It links business operations for SMBs, as well as enterprises and multinational organizations with geographically dispersed branch offices into a seamless and highly available network.
As part of the TCG master agency, Ecessa will also increase its presence to a wider audience, making this partnership mutually beneficial as they move forward.
