An agile, cost-effective and reliable network is mission critical to the enterprise. Complexity creates challenges, especially if you are a multinational firm with 100s of locations, but with innovation in software-defined solutions, your digital infrastructure can be managed with a few clicks of a mouse…thank you SD-WAN.

Today, Viptela and SevOne announced the arrival of an integrated solution providing centralized management that can scale easily. The SevOne Digital Infrastructure Management platform and Viptela’s SD-WAN platform provide operators and data centers with a user-friendly dashboard to manage and monitor their IT infrastructure.

“Businesses are transforming into digital enterprises, differentiated by software, applications, and continuous innovation. However, as enterprises leverage software-defined infrastructures and networking to solve these business critical challenges, they require a current and complete view of their infrastructure and the services it supports to ensure performance and, at all costs, avoid service outages,” said Jim Melvin, Chief Marketing Officer at SevOne.

With their powers combined, users gain visibility into the Viptela SD-WAN solution as well as components and devices connected to the firm’s digital infrastructure. The SevOne interface provides a visual status of the SD-WAN network. In addition, the solution allows the operator to diagnose, isolate and address network issues in real time.

Ramesh Prabagaran, VP of Product Management and Partnerships for Viptela explained, “This partnership provides customers the visibility and agility they need to quickly identify and fix problems before they can impact network and infrastructure performance and business operations. We chose to partner with SevOne to provide customers the flexibility to monitor the health status of Viptela SD-WANs within a leading, highly scalable digital infrastructure management platform.”

Let’s face it, those who have yet to realize that digital is the new black, are in trouble. And with growing network strain as a result of increased traffic, it is more important than ever to ensure one’s digital ducks are in a row.
