Marketo, Salesforce.com Improve Sales Software for Joint Customers

The global Revenue Performance Management solutions provider Marketo has announced that more than 600 of its customers jointly use Marketo (News - Alert) and salesforce.com.


Marketo offers cloud-delivered solutions that are built using Force.com and are available on salesforce.com's AppExchange 2. The company claims that it is transforming how companies are driving their revenue performance and fueling growth.

“Marketo continues to be a great partner to salesforce.com, providing integrated, cloud-based marketing automation for customers,” said Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer, salesforce.com.

Businesses can leverage both Marketo and salesforce.com to create a solution that can improve both sales effectiveness and marketing performance.

Thanks to Marketo, marketers can identify sales-ready leads, and this empowers sales to prioritize and act on the hottest leads. Eventually, this results in greater revenue performance.

This announcement was made at Dreamforce, a global cloud computing event focused on inspiring customer, partner and developer success with cloud computing.

Attendees will gain useful insight into maximizing their current investments and explore new offerings across Salesforce Chatter, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com and more. Hundreds of salesforce.com partners are exhibiting the latest cloud offerings at this event that also includes training sessions, seminars and breakout sessions.

In related news, Infogroup’s OneSource (News - Alert) division said it will introduce iSell for Salesforce.com (News - Alert) at the 2010 Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference.
