PivotLink is allowing online and omni-channel retailers to improve customer lifetime value with the release of the PivotLink Customer Performance Management application.
The company, which provides retail performance management solutions delivered via Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)), has released the PivotLink Customer Performance Management application to this end.
The newly announced application will complement pre-packaged retail-centric measurements and reports in PivotLink RetailMetrix and the PivotLink SaaS Business Intelligence Platform.
PivotLink Customer Performance Management will allow the retailers to segment customers into actionable groups and correlate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to those groups.
In another strategic move, PivotLink has acquired a privately-held provider of SaaS e-commerce analytics solutions Acteea and is now integrating its customer scoring and segmentation and marketing performance optimization.
PivotLink notes a November 2011 study by RSR Research according to which 70 percent of large retailers don't get information fast enough and 60 percent can't act quickly enough on information even when they do get it.
Research firm IDC (News - Alert) has also predicted the total market for Business Analytics software in Retail to grow at 8.6 percent CAGR from 2010 – 2015.
"A major transformation is happening in retail as companies shift to a customer-centric model and adopt next generation analytic solutions that make customer, product and sales data more actionable," said Bruce Armstrong, president & CEO, PivotLink. "PivotLink will continue to invest in our strategy to democratize best-in-class retail performance management applications that are affordable, even for smaller, regional retailers. PivotLink's business user focus, on-demand delivery model, superior time to value and market-leading analytic solutions enhanced by Acteea offer unparalleled business value."
