The Dialer Cloud is a new premise-based predictive dialer service recently released by Dialtel, a voice broadcasting provider.  

Dialtel has been powering fully customizable voice broadcasting messages since 2004. The newly unveiled dialer service is the result of the company’s continued efforts to deliver innovative services to clients as it combine the benefits of hosting in the cloud with the benefits of owning software.  

The Dialer Cloud is the Web-based service that interacts with the dialer. While customers can easily manage the entire account from the Internet, the dialer does the rest of the work. It also continuously offers customers access to new software upgrades that they will receive free of charge.

Voice broadcasting via the cloud enables users to utilize their existing network and save money by eliminating the need to purchase additional equipment that can get very expensive in a short period of time. However, the service does require users to pay a free for operating and maintaining that network. According to Dialtel officials, the biggest costs are usualy related to the hosting of the media to handle advanced functions such as playing audio files, recording phone calls, and capturing DTMF responses.

When selling the dialer hardware to a customer, the company acts as a host for the Web portion of the service which allows customers to use any carrier they wish. The customer simply purchases the dialer from Dialtel and they can then connect it to the Dialer Cloud.

Dialers from Dialtel range from 12-48 lines for home and office connections to 96-600 lines for large customers. Smaller customers can run up to 48 lines out of the home or office but beyond that number of lines, the system would need to be hosted in a data center.

Another benefit of purchasing this dialer from Dialtel is that customers will receive true wholesale voice broadcasting rates.  The provider will even give a free evaluation to customers looking to purchase the hardware, comparing it to the cost of hosting Greendialer, its fully hosted dialer service.
