Sytel Completes Rollout of Predictive Dialer Software in Europe

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

A predictive dialer is an integral component of a call center. It helps agents automate the outbound dialing process and eliminate the dead time between calls. As the popularity of hosted call centers grow, predictive dialer software solutions are in huge demand.

Sytel Limited, a provider of intelligent call center software and predictive dialer echnologies, recently revealed that the GfK Group (News - Alert) has completed the European phase of its worldwide rollout of the Sytel dialer software, totaling 3,700 licenses.

Sytel also delivers secure, resilient IP telephony and media infrastructure software to carriers, enterprises and hosted VoIP call center providers, connecting and managing calls and media sessions without any boundaries.

The GfK Group selected the Sytel (News - Alert) dialer platform as it provides a flexible approach to address its local needs. Moreover, GfK Group could accommodate a single Sytel dialer in its centralized global hub.

The Sytel call center platform was certified by both GfK’s Computer Aided Telephony Interviewing (CATI) software provider and its global network vendor, so the company is able to set up a local access point in different locations confidently.

“Following the successful global deployment of our one-network approach, it was clear we needed a SIP-based dialer that could be deployed globally utilizing its new infrastructure,” said David Hynan, GfK Development & Infrastructure director, in a statement.

Hynan also added the predictive dialer component gave the company a massive boost in interviewer productivity over progressive dialing than any other dialer it has used or considered. “Greater productivity keeps our customers happy and gives us an immediate return on investment.”

“As well as the unbeatable interviewer talk time our dialer provides, we offer a ‘concurrent usage’ licensing model,” commented Sytel CEO Michael McKinlay. “This allows GfK to share their licenses across the globe, so as one country finishes a shift, another can start, using the same licenses. It gives them global calling for a fraction of the license cost of other systems.”
