SoundBite Communications (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based customer communications solutions, recently revealed increased capabilities that have been made to its predictive dialer. Some of these new functionalities are session recording, session transfer and enhanced Agent Voice Portal, multi-channel strategies, local caller ID, call blending, custom disposition codes, campaign management tools, filtering and Full API access.
The company’s predictive dialer enables organizations to break free of expensive on-premise equipment, while maintaining a higher level of support for disaster recovery needs. This dialer is perfect for large and mid-size businesses that want to transition from an on-premise solution to a cloud-based model, according to an insideARM.com article. A study from research firm Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) further represents the advantages of utilizing a cloud-based solution instead of a traditional, premise-based system, in terms of saving an estimated 50 percent in costs.
“SoundBite continues to invest in the evolution of its predictive dialer. We have built out a comprehensive offering that allows organizations to replace their on-premise investment entirely,” said Tim Segall, chief technology officer at SoundBite, in a statement. “We’re seeing a number of large organizations who have traditionally invested in on-premise technology start to move to the cloud. In fact, two of the largest U.S. wireless carriers will begin running campaigns using our dialer in the upcoming weeks.”
In addition to the company’s predictive dialer, SoundBite powers a multi-channel offering including voice messaging, text messaging and e-mail. Due to these advanced capabilities complementing the dialer, organizations can gain access to all of these communications channels from a one platform.
“We’ve been using SoundBite’s dialer to meet the varying capacity needs of our European clients. Many of our clients rely on the cloud-based solution to handle their dialer needs including replacement of existing on-premise systems, capacity overflow and disaster recovery needs,” said Rob Perry, chief executive officer of Telsolutions LTD. “The latest enhancements to SoundBite’s predictive dialer will enable us to successfully enter the debt collection market with a highly-competitive and Ofcom-compliant solution
