Smart Power Systems, Touch Dynamic Collaborate to Supply Power Protection
This week in power protection news, it was revealed that Touch Dynamic, a manufacturer of touch screen monitors and mobile POS devices for a variety of industries, will deliver Smart Power Systems’ electronic power conditioners and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products with its bundled options through a newly forged partnership.
“Smart Power Systems is proud to announce our partnership with Touch Dynamic. Our collaboration will allow POS dealers a ‘one-stop-shop’ for a bundled solution to better serve their clients,” Roger Faridi, COO at Smart Power Systems, explained in a statement. “We have heard what POS dealers are in need of and this new relationship will definitely allow both Smart Power Systems and Touch Dynamic to lead the way in the POS industry with solutions that are both robust and reliable.”
Smart Power Systems, a manufacturer of power quality solutions, claimed that its UPS product series deliver complete power protection with communication port for computers, servers, retail/POS systems, telecom, LAN and peripherals. The company’s UPS can eliminate line noise in addition to surge protection, voltage regulation and battery back-up.
The company asserted that its UPSs are integrated with Transformer Based Power Filter (TBF), a new technology in power conditioning and the most effective solution to power quality problems. TBF technology is capable of conditioning power and protects the connected electronic equipment against lightning, EMI and RFI (News - Alert) noise, low voltage and high voltage spikes and transients. They are ultimately intended to offer superior power protection to ensure that POS equipment performs as intended.
Craig Paritz, president and CEO at Touch Dynamic, added, “Touch Dynamic found that partnering with Smart Power, who has a complete line of power protection, is perfect for our diverse clientele. This partnership gives our resellers and ISV’s a single source for their POS hardware and the equipment to protect their investment.”
