Hosted Phone Systems Offer Most Benefit
By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor
For businesses looking to survive in today’s highly competitive market, finding a communications solution that saves on costs and offers additional functionalities is key.
These benefits are responsible for much of the uptick in VoIP phone systems over the years.
In today’s economic climate however, with minimal capital available for most businesses, hosted phone systems have proven to be the most beneficial.
A VendorGuru.com article, “Benefits of Hosted VoIP Business Service,” outlines the ways organizations can save even more by choosing a hosted VoIP phone system.
Primarily, businesses will benefit from lower up front costs as a hosted option removes the need for a physical PBX (News - Alert) that must be maintained onsite. By hosting the service offsite, maintenance is also handled by trained specialists and doesn’t require involvement from the company.
Hosted phone systems are also more flexible and scalable. When new extensions need to be added as the company grows, or if seasonal increases in business require more phone systems, they can be upgraded automatically without any disruptions to business or additional costs.
