Devolutions, which offers remote desktop management services to enterprises. recently announced a major update to its Remote Desktop Manager, helping users solve their remote desktop problems “elegantly and efficiently.”
Version 7.0 of Remote Desktop Manager comes with new and improved password generator, KeePass multi database support, password quality evaluator, SSH key generator, Yubico support, and other enhanced security features.
Users can safely and efficiently manage remote connections and virtual machines anywhere anytime. They can now import credentials from a wide range of password management tools including SplashID, LastPass, KeePass, OnePassword, Passpack, DataVault, PasswordDepot, Password Agent, LogMeIn, RoboForm, and Dameware.
A new Hyper-V dashboard enables easy at-a-glance viewing. The remove desktop manager also supports Intel (News - Alert) AMT vPro as well as PowerShell Cmdlet.
“Version 7.0 elevates Remote Desktop Manager to its highest level ever,” said Devolutions’ CEO and founder David Hervieux, in a statement. “By adding more team-oriented features and functionality, our users across the world can now enjoy an enhanced level password management, credentials management and remote computer management.”
The new version of remote desktop manager also comes with important enhancements to its user interface (UI) which include improved text entry, more filter options, additional shortcuts, French translation, custom group icon, sort priority option, and more.
Additional enhancements include built-in SSH tunnel/Telnet/SSH Shell/FTP/SFTP/UltraVNC, new integrated PDF, Visio and Office document support, native embedded UltraVNC, and the ability to export data entries to Csv, Xml and encrypted HTML.
Devolutions also announced a 30 day trial of Remote Desktop Manager (7.0).
A self-hosted repository, Remote Desktop Manager Server stores, organizes and shares remote connections and virtual machines. In addition, this newest offering also operates in a high-end security environment with its own private SSL certificate.
