Sangoma Hits Financial Highs in 2007

Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) reached all time highs in both sales and net earnings this year, the company said in its year end financial report.

The Toronto-based company, a provider of telephony and network hardware and software products supporting telephony, wide area networks and Internet infrastructure, released highlights this week of its results for the financial year ending June 30, 2007.

“Sales have continued to show strong growth every quarter, as we continue to expand our channels, and despite the rise in the Canadian Dollar,” Sangoma Technologies President and CEO, David Mandelstam (News - Alert).

The company finished the financial year with working capital of $5.29 million, compared to $2.84 million in the prior year, an increase of 86 percent, according to Mandelstam.

“Sangoma’s reputation for quality and reliability is continuing to drive record results,” said Mandelstam.

Founded in 1984, Sangoma provides of PC-based hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based telephony solutions. The company develops and manufactures voice and data communication products including the industry-leading series of Advanced Flexible Telecommunications (AFT) PCI cards.

Sangoma’s products also includes hardware that enables telephony applications including legacy PBX, IVR, auto attendant, next generation gateways, media servers and application servers.
