Intelestream Intros Time Tracking Module for SugarCRM

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

Intelestream, a consulting and software firm for open source CRM provider, SugarCRM (News - Alert), has announced a new Time Tracking Module for SugarCRM that will allow managers and users to track time spent on completing tasks and projects.

The new SugarCRM plug-in, available at SugarPlugins.com, is perfect for monitoring internal sales performance and recording billable hours in the legal, medical, financial, and professional services industries.

Intelestream founder and CEO Jason Green said, "We have developed the Time Tracking Module for SugarCRM because at Intelestream, we understand time is money. We also understand this valuable resource is difficult to calculate and difficult to report on."

To help keep better track of billable hours, the tool has the ability to be set to automatically bill according to the time and rates of individual teams and users. Also, receipts can be easily generated in the reporting tool that include itemized tasks with the exact amount if time taken for each to be accomplished.

In order to help managers better keep track of performance, the new tool also makes it easier to set goals and measure productivity based on time taken to accomplish tasks. With the many reporting metrics that can be tracked, it also becomes easier to make more informed staffing decisions.

"In order to run an organization effectively, managers need to have a clear picture of everything that goes into the process of getting each and every job accomplished. It is great to add this tool to our growing list of in-house developed SugarCRM plug-ins," said Green.

Intelestream also recently announced new Goals and Metrics for SugarCRM, available as an add-on module to all editions of SugarCRM, to allow sales managers and team members to set goals and track progress together in real-time.
