JasperSoft (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of open source business intelligence (BI), has announced today major enhancements to Jasper4Sugar, a reporting and business intelligence solution built for use with the SugarCRM (News - Alert) product family.

To jointly deliver the solution, JasperSoft has partnered with go-mobile, the creator of ZuckerReports – the most popular third-party project on SugarForge. The total solution includes JasperServer Professional, JasperAnalysis Professional and JasperETL, as well as pre-built reporting, analysis, and data integration content and capabilities.

 

ZuckerReports have been downloaded by tens of thousands of organizations worldwide to add extended reporting capabilities to Sugar. Jasper4Sugar adds a library of pre-built reports and OLAP analysis cubes, self-service ad hoc reporting, report management and scheduling, in addition to pre-built data integration feeds.

Data integration feeds are automatically available upon installation and customizable for users’ specific business requirements. Advanced reporting and analysis is available from inside the Sugar application, providing a seamless integrated experience for business users.

The JasperServer Professional module in the Jasper4Sugar solution enables business users to manage and interact with reporting in an intuitive Web 2.0 interface. It also allows for the building of their own advanced reports with a zero-client, drag and drop, and WYSIWYG ad hoc report designer.

 

Businesses can also enjoy JasperAnalysis Professional which is designed to allow business users to “slice and dice” data through the use of a Web browser to visualize and discover trends and exceptions in their business data.
