Interoperability and the shared access of data across different systems is providing increased benefits and helping to strengthen customer relationships across the board.
Just last month, TMCnet's David Sims reported Microsoft (News - Alert) Corp.'s formation of the Interoperability Customer Executive Council. His report quoted officials at Microsoft as saying the council was established to “identify areas for interoperability improvements across its products and the overall software industry.”
Furthering this support, provider of open source CRM, SugarCRM, is set to release a new version of Sugar Suite that will support Microsoft Windows Server products. A preview of this new optimization will be provided to all attendees of their joint webcast with Microsoft to be held Wednesday July 26.
The webcast, "Delivering Interoperability for Customers", will address how interoperability can strengthen customer relationships and will feature Martin Schneider, Senior Analyst, Enterprise Software, The 451 Group who will interview Sugar CRM's Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder John Roberts and Bill Hilf, Director of Technical Platform Strategy, Microsoft Corporation. The interview session will highlight and discuss both companies collaboration in delivering interoperable solutions as well as the added choices offered to their joint customer base as a result of interoperability.
Also during the webcast, Bill Hilf will discuss Microsoft's strategy for partnering with open source leaders to deliver continued customer success on the Windows platform.
