Intelestream Adds Twitter Integration Tool to Online CRM System for SMBs

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Intelestream, a provider of CRM consulting and online CRM systems, has announced that it has added a Twitter integration tool to intelecrm, an online CRM solution for small and medium sized businesses, or "SMBs."

"We have taken a true pulse of the SMB market through research and by listening to what our customers have to say," said Ray Stoeckicht, vice president of sales at Intelestream. "Without a doubt, there is serious demand for Social CRM. What began as a fad has turned into a serious trend that is transforming the way we think about CRM."

With the addition of Twitter Pro module to intelecrm, users can now search Twitter for specific keywords, track related tweets, save tweets as records in intelecrm, convert tweet records as leads, and send external tweets. Company officials said that they can do all these within the intelecrm environment.

intelecrm offers enterprise level CRM functionality to SMBs. Company officials said that the pricing for the application follows a "unique model" that charges subscribers according to the quantity of records and data storage used, rather than the number of users accessing the system.

The application is designed as a turn-key CRM solution that can be customized according to individual requirements. Company officials said that an Internet connection and a Web browser are all that is needed to use the application.

The company has "broken ground in the world of Social CRM" by integrating a powerful Twitter module that is fully integrated with sales, marketing, and customer support CRM processes, Stoeckicht said.

Stoeckicht also indicated that the company's development road map includes a number of new Social CRM features that they plan to roll out over the next two quarters to complete the picture.

Recently, Intelestream published "Understanding and Harnessing the Power of Social CRM," a whitepaper that aims to take a practical look at the subject and remove confusion for customers. Company officials said that this was published in response to the growing popularity of Social CRM.
