Intelestream's Two Branches Offer Options for Online CRM and SaaS Systems for Users

By Kelly McGuire, TMCnet Editor

In addition to offering customers its own customer relationship management, or “CRM,” system, CRM professional services provider, Intelestream is a licensed provider of open source CRM provider, SugarCRM’s (News - Alert) applications, another online CRM application.

Divided into two branches – one for its in-house software as a service system, intelecrm, and its professional services branch surrounded around SugarCRM and other open source applications – Intelestream gives corporations looking to maximize productivity the best of both worlds: options.

According to Stafford McKay, Intelestream’s marketing director, SugarCRM is the engine that powers intelecrm.

“We have improved the application and redesigned it to meet the needs of small and medium sized businesses,” McKay said, adding that Intelestream is made up of former SugarCRM employees who were on the ground floor of SugarCRM when that company was getting started.

Originating as a way to meet the growing demand for SugarCRM professional services, including customizations, Intelestream has since become a leader in the SugarCRM product portfolio and, according to McKay, have a number of Fortune 500 companies as its clients.

From a company’s standpoint, why would one select open source in comparison to other systems?

“From a Professional Services perspective, open source is ideal,” McKay said. “The code is unlocked, meaning we have virtually no limits when customizing the application for our clients.”

But, like I said, the best part about Intelestream’s two branches is the option to go with a product that suites a company’s needs to the tee. No matter what requirements there may be, this CRM professional services provider can find the system that will work towards improving the lines of communication and operational results concurrently.
