Are you worried about your Web page load times? Monitis, a provider of all-in-one cloudware network monitoring solutions, is now offering a free solution. The company is providing a full Web page load-testing tool as part of its Web portal.
The Monitis tool will speed test a complete HTML page, including all objects like images, Javascripts, Flash, CSS (News - Alert), RSS feeds, frames and iframes. The tool reports back with bar graphs summarizing the load times of each object.
“We have a single vision in mind for our new and free instant, web page load-testing service, and that is to help Sysadmins, webmasters and developers save time by quickly finding out about issues or problems on their sites and then fixing them immediately,” said Hovhannes Avoyan, founder and CEO of Monitis. “In the end, saving time allows Sysadmins to better manage their online businesses and raise customer service levels.”
The new service mimics the way a web page is loaded within a real browser. Users may enter the URL of a page to test the load times of all elements on the page. The testing can point out page or server problems as well as load-related bottlenecks. The results will enable administrators to identify and fix issues like slow load time, image loading failure or problems with CSS files. The Monitis solution checks the page load speed from various locations across the U.S., Europe and Asia simultaneously, offering system administrators a complete report of real user experiences in multiple markets.
“Our new web page tester performs a one-time check without any need to register or sign up as a customer, although webmasters and Sysadmins who want to perform server tests regularly throughout the day, say every 15 minutes or so, and get alerts in case of failures, can sign up for Monitis, our premium service,” said Avoyan. “This easy-to-use instant tool broadens our menu of instant-check tools, such as instant remote ping and instant http check. What they all have in common is that they make life much easier for IT pros, saving them time.”
The company plans to offer additional tools for system administrators throughout 2011. Monitis recently redesigned its free Mon.itor.Us service, which enables comprehensive server and network monitoring services at no cost.
