Dialogic Plays Vital Role in ITEXPO East with Seven Technology Sessions

TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO East event is in full swing this week, and Dialogic is playing a vital part, presenting at seven sessions. The topics range from mobile video to cloud telephony. Service providers interested in gaining the latest information can visit booth #806 to learn how to leverage Dialogic (News - Alert) to build unified communications, open source and value-added services solutions.


The first session took place today (Wednesday) and featured Ken Osowski (News - Alert), director of Product Marketing, Service Provider Market Group. Osowski shared insight while talking mobile VoIP and its future and impact on enterprise communications.

The second session, entitled “Trends and the Future of VoIP/Telco 2.0 – The Emergency of Cloud Telephony,” featured Scott Wooster, enterprise product marketing manager, who addressed next-generation telephony services in small business environments, today (Wednesday).

Dawn Hogh, vice president of Product Marketing, hosted the session, “Overcoming VoIP Peering Challenges: Focus on Latin America.” In this VIPeering event, Hogh explored the different environments and opportunities that are associated with voice connection and peering within Latin American markets.

Next, Joe Mele, vice president at Dialogic Media Labs, will examine available technologies that integrate TV, PC and mobile into the same ecosystem in a session entitled: Enabling the Three-screen Ecosystem. Mele can be found at the Service Provider Track, ITEXPO (News - Alert) East, in Room B212 on Thursday, Feb. 3, from 1 to 1:45 EST.

“Explore Maintaining Service Quality While Introducing New Next Generation Services,” with Ken Osowski, will focus on evaluating alternative strategies for solving VoIP testing challenges and how enterprises and network operators can tackle the overload of VoIP. Join Osowski on Thursday, Feb. 3, from 2 to 2:45 EST at the Service Provider Track, ITEXPO East, Room B212.

Antony Martin, director of Open Source Engineering, will host “Using the DiaStarServer to Provide Video, Media and Signaling Functionality to Asterisk (News - Alert).” In this session, Martin will discuss how developers can rely on the DiaStar Server with Asterisk to create video applications such as IVVR and video conferencing. Find Martin at Digium Asterisk World, collocated at ITEXPO East, Presentation Theatre, on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. EST.

Finally, check out Joe Mele’s “Mobile Video and the Enterprise” to review mobile video for training, teleconferencing and remote monitoring. This session will ask, “What are the next mobile applications being developed?” You will find Mele at 4GWE, collocated at ITEXPO East, Room B117 on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 from 9:25 to 10:15 AM EST.

All Dialogic presentations will be presented at the Miami Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
