Aerohive (News - Alert) Networks, a provider of controller-less Wi-Fi and cloud-managed mobile networking technology,  has introduced Aerohive Mobility Suite, a cloud-enabled mobility management solution designed to simplifies the complexity caused by the influx of mobile devices in the enterprise. It aims to ensure that enterprise mobility deployment is secure and that corporate information is protected end-to-end.

The Mobility Suite includes three main components: the Client Management application, the ID Manager Application, and integration with mobile device management software partners AirWatch (News - Alert) and JAMF Software. Together, these features enable businesses to address the challenges associated with mobile data security, simplifying enterprise networking and personalizing mobility for enterprises.

Aerohive Mobility Suite offers management and control over a spectrum of mobile clients, from transient guests to company-issued devices. It creates a unified, mobile-centric, access layer with consistent management across mobile clients and both wireless and wired networks.

ID Manager provides self-service portals and kiosk-based guest registration, with simplified delivery of access credentials via SMS, email, and even Twitter (News - Alert) direct messaging.  With the Client Management application, an IT administrator can easily onboard and provision corporate-issued and BYO devices with unique client credentials, ensuring the security of corporate resources. Finally, integration with other MDM vendors’ services allows companies to enact even tighter controls over devices and the content within, should they require it.
