WidePoint Expands its Proprietary Telecommunication Lifecycle Management Solution

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Coordinating telecom resources is challenging work for any company that needs to deploy a complete management plan that complements their organization. This is becoming an even bigger issue as the complexity of a communication network of cellular phones, Blackberries, PDAs, air cards, pagers and other devices grows and becomes more geographically dispersed.

Widepoint Telecommunication’s Lifecycle Management cloud-based solution is a product that enables companies to manage the lifecycles of their telecommunication products. Recently, the company announced a dependable, integrated, Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.

This solution is a part of its proprietary cloud-based Telecommunication Lifecycle Management service.

Provided as part of the company’s new suite of services of Mobility Management Solutions (MMS), this new product is a convergence of Telecom Expense Management (TEM), MDM and Mobile Security Management (MSM).

With this new product, the company looks to cater to the growing demand for a completely integrated, cloud-based TEM+ and MDM solution.

“With the recent advances in mobile computing, along with mobile applications being adopted at an ever expanding and frenetic pace, we have made an investment to expand our mobile platform to meet the evolvingneeds of our customers,” commented Michael Mansouri CEO at WSC. “Our strong base of business, with more than 100 clients in the commercial and government sectors, as well as our partners that provide us reach internationally, are increasingly demanding dynamic, non-capital intensive, secure cloud-based mobile solutions that enhance enterprise workforce mobility.”

Recently, the company announced that iSYS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WidePoint Corporation, will be providing telecommunications audit services to the state of Nevada. For many years, iSYS has been offering Telecom Expense Management (TEM) services to government clients, which consist of the U.S. Federal Government.

Also, through its services, WidePoint claims to have saved more than $120 million for its clients. The company will be providing telecommunications audit services for the state of Nevada.
