A strategic partnership between Trellia Networks (News - Alert), a provider of mobile device management solutions and Evolve North, a well known U.K. based IT service provider will work together to power Trellia's mobile solutions for iOS and Android (News - Alert) into the U.K. market.
In a press release, Rami Karam, vice president of marketing for Trellia said, “Demand for mobile device management solutions is a truly global trend; as a result Trellia is partnering with leading IT service providers, like Evolve North, to bring tailored solutions to customers in their local markets.”
The rapid adoption of smartphones and tablets has led to a corresponding increase in management and security challenges. The Trellia suite of solutions in conjunction with Evolve North's expertise in IT security is expected to enhance the ability of organizations to deal with these challenges adequately, and in accordance with the regulatory compliance requirements.
Mark Dennis, managing director at Evolve North spoke of the company's expertise in tackling enterprise level security in the challenging U.K. environment and noted that the partnership
would help to address the security challenges posed by the growing adoption of consumer mobile devices like the iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad.

Trellia and Evolve North will be hosting a webinar “iPhone and iPad Security Basics” on September 20, 2011 and will also hold mobile device management workshops that are accompanied by 15 day guided evaluations.
