2X Software Introduces 2X MobileDeviceManager for the Cloud

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

2X (News - Alert) Software, a provider of virtual and cloud computing solutions, has just released its 2X MobileDeviceManager Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product.

“2X MobileDeviceManager will revolutionize enterprise mobile device management,” said Nikolaos Makris (News - Alert), CEO of 2X Software, in a statement. “2X Software recognizes the potential of mobile devices to increase enterprise user productivity, and 2X MobileDeviceManager will make comprehensive mobile device management as simple and seamless as possible for administrators.”

As the computing capacity and popularity of small mobile devices increased, so have the issues associated with their control and manageability facing IT administrators. This is creating a growing threat of unauthenticated mobile devices to businesses worldwide, according to 2X officials.

The new 2X MobileDeviceManager allows administrators to secure and manage their corporate mobile device network by supporting authentication with SSL connections from Android (News - Alert) and other mobile and smart devices. The product also enables centralized user tracking and effective mobile application and desktop control.

An all-in-one package provides administrators and end-users the capabilities they need for effective mobile device usability and management.

As an early bird offer, 2X Software is offering the solution free for the first 10,000 subscribers.

Earlier this year, 2X Software announced the new 2X Client for Android that enables users to access published applications and desktops on their mobile Android devices. Enterprises can use the 2X Client for Android on any mobile Android devices to deploy business-critical applications and desktops from their datacenter to any location.
