Contract Analyst, a consulting company that specializes in tailoring IT solutions to clients’ needs, has just been named as top contract management software vendor by Capterra, an organization that works to match software vendors with the best potential clients. Founded in 1999, Capterra offers the support of software experts as well as buying guides, blog posts, and user reviews to help buyers choose the right software providers for their needs.

Elements of successful comprehensive contract management software are provided by Contract Analyst. As one may or may not already know, contract management software is an invaluable tool for any business to manage and track multiple contracts. This type of application not only can be used to store and categorize contracts, but it can help companies miss no deadlines by sending alerts on important due dates throughout the contract’s lifecycle (i.e., milestones, expiration, renew-by dates, etc…) much like Icertis' Contract Management deployed on-premise solution.

Sherrie Riley, Contract Analyst SVP of sales, said the company was honored to be among the top 20 contract management software companies, which offer the most popular options on the market today in making it easier to monitor a contract’s status. She expressed the importance of the enthusiasm that their clients show as a motivation to excel. Since 2004, the company has been providing services to clients across a wide range of industries, including legal, medical, pharmaceutical communication and transportation companies. They also provide software to government entities. Their clients are based globally, in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The importance of contract management software for businesses of all sizes is stressed by Capterra, a well-known trusted software advisor. Companies managing hundreds if not thousands of contracts can’t rely on traditional filing systems to retain compliance with regulations and keep track of important deadlines. As Riley states, companies recognize “that their financial health depends on careful contract management.” Capterra, in fact, saw a growth in the contract management software market of 10-20 percent every year with a current value of $400 million.

It was a year of growth also for Contract Analyst, as noted by Mark Little, president and CEO of the company. To provide better services to their clients that include lawyers, paralegals, compliance officers and contract managers, his firm is providing solutions that not only track contracts but also delivers risk management, compliance tracking, and legal entity management.

As Little said, "Contract management software is no longer just about deadlines and alerts. Contract management is risk management." And in fact, the products that Contract Analyst offers not only provide a central repository to store all contracts and a calendar of important dates, but also add reporting capabilities that can help companies ensure regulatory compliance. Even more, reports and the software auditing capabilities can help analyze the contract portfolio and forecast revenue and expenses. Overall, this can ensure companies can have a rapid return on the investment in contract management software.
