Reportedly progressing into the preview phase as early as next month, the offerings will completely shatter the obstacles separating customer data centers, service provider data centers and Windows Azure, enabling companies around the world to revamp their IT infrastructure and embrace every benefit related to the cloud including scalability, improved efficiency, anywhere/anytime accessibility and reduced costs. Microsoft added that Windows Server 2012 R2 and System Center 2012 R2 will be released on the market by the end of 2013, with SQL Server 2014 following it within mere months.
