Master agent Telecom Brokerage (News - Alert), Inc. (TBI), a master agent of telecommunications, recently hosted top partners and vendors at the recently held annual ski workshop held in Breckenridge, CO.

Some of the partners of the master agent including CenturyLink Channel Alliance, Comcast Business Class, EarthLink Business, Level 3, MegaPath, Netwolves, TW Telecom and Windstream (PAETEC (News - Alert)), who were all present at the not-to-miss workshop.

Guests met at the Alpine Villa estate for activities, where they participated in advisory board meeting and reviewed their activities of 2011. A major part of the discussion revolved around TBI’s new wireless initiatives, including PartneriQ, mobile device management and buyback-recycling program.

Back in September, the master agent launched partneriQ, an intelligent new method for managing the full scope of customers’ communications needs. This innovative customer management tool allows TBI’s partners to fully manage their customers’ telecommunications demands through using a fully developed expense management platform with a CRM system.

In addition, this solution allows for optimizations, trouble ticketing, reporting, contract management and mobility life cycle management, the company said in a statement.

The master agent event gave participants an opportunity to meet vendors and TBI staff in a social and relaxed environment, and also provided them a common platform to discuss business challenges with others.

“The TBI Ski Workshop this year was truly a first class event,” said Jim Glackin, Central Region area vice president for CenturyLink Channel Alliance, in a statement. “I think that everyone had a great time enjoying the skiing, snowmobiling, and camaraderie, while, at the same time, networking and making quality business connections in a very spacious and comfortable environment.”

In related company news, TMCnet reported that TBI had promoted Jim Jacob as PartneriQ product specialist. In his new role, Jacob will now handle all service and sales related questions that have to do with TBI’s customer management product.
